1. Set clear boundaries for your day.
When working in a field like real estate, you get calls and texts at all hours. To help ease your mind, set boundaries for yourself. For instance, you could decide to not answer any calls or texts before 8 AM or after 7 PM.
2. Listen to your body and mind.
If you feel yourself running on empty, stop! Listen to your body when it says it's tired or when it says it needs a break. If you're at home and it's only 7;30, but you're exhausted, go to sleep! Give your body a chance to recover.
3. Shorten your to-do list.
Having a to-do list with 10 major tasks on it can be overwhelming! Take your daily list and try putting down only 1-3 major things. You can add small tasks, but don't try to do more than you can handle.
4. It's okay to push things back sometimes.
If you have a task that you didn't quite get to today, that's okay! Put it at the top of your list for tomorrow. Don't overwork yourself if it's something that can wait until tomorrow.
5. Relax over lunch.
Don't speed through your lunch! Use the time you have to enjoy your lunch and take some time to breathe. Enjoy the little break you get during the day and take some time to clear your head and focus on yourself.
Start with these 5 things to help reduce your stress levels. Remember to just slow down and breathe sometimes. It helps.
